Thanksgiving Dinner

Yesterday, we went to our cousin's house in Spanaway, Washington to celebrate Thanksgiving Day. It was a fun and exciting day for all of us, especially the kids. We left the house at 8:30 in the morning, then headed to West Seattle and picked up Mark (Braveheart) who went with us. It took us about 1 1/2 hour to get there.

At 12:30, dear hubby and Mark went to the intersection nearby and did a ministry while still waiting for the other guests to come. On their way back, the car window was making funny noises and then finally gave up. They ended up going home early. It was raining so they put some tapes on it so that the water won't go inside. We're talking about a major car window disaster here. I forgot to take some pictures. Then another disaster happened. Mae was cooking Sweet Potato with Marshmallows and she forgot to check the oven until it was too late. The oven was burning and everyone in the kitchen was yelling and screaming "Fire". Help, there's a fire in the kitchen...LOL. What a funny and scary moment. It's good thing they were able to stop the fire or else it would be a disaster.

Finally, the party started at around 3:30 in the afternoon. Josie, Mae and Ate Yolly prepared delicious foods. They also prepared some Filipino dish such as Chicken afritada, Egg Rolls (Lumpia), Biko and many more. We bring some leftovers. We're all dead tired. I only got 4 hours sleep. We arrived at around 10:30 in the evening but couldn't sleep until 2 o'clock in the morning because dear son is running a fever again. But it was fun.

Alright, that's enough babbling. Have a great week everyone!
